I have an antique gold ring, from my grand (http://maplered.com) mother, and (http://maplered.com) I lost the Stone (http://g603.net) .  It was black to look at but in the sun it turned a glowing tan color.  I am trying to identify the Stone (http://g603.net) .  Gram said it was just costume jewelry.  It was a cabushon cut ring, oval and (http://maplered.com) the underside was cut almost flat, but with cleavage (like the way slate breaks).  All the black Stone (http://g603.net) s I have been finding online do not have glowing quality my grams ring had.  Can anyone help me?  Linda in NNY
